We are so excited to share this news: dothegap will actively participate in 4YFN (4 Years From Now), one of the main events that will take place during the Mobile World Congress (MWC). If you want to know more about our presence there and when it will take place, read on!
4YFN: launch of startups and emerging projects
The chance to form part of 4YFN is very special for dothegap, since this event is one of the highlights of the Mobile World Congress. It’s an innovation platform that, as its name indicates (4 years from now), opens the way for emerging projects of the future.
In 2019, 4YFN will take place on February 25, 26 and 27. An important things to note is that this event takes place in the city of Barcelona, in the number 8 pavilion of Fira Montjuïc. This makes it easier to discover the participating projects up close if you are not going to attend the bulk of the MWC in Fira Gran Via de l’Hospitalet.
The 4YFN activities include the presentation of startups and tech trends, inspiring talks and, above all, networking among entrepreneurs and potential investors. One of its greatest aspects is that it allows projects like ours that are just starting out to be discovered.
How will dothegap participate at 4YFN?
The participation of dothegap in 4YFN will be double, since we have been selected by Barcelona Activa, among many other projects, to present our proposal of exchanges without intermediaries.
On the one hand, dothegap will have its own stand during the 3 days of the event. All those interested in discovering the project up close, will find us at stand R3.5 of pavilion 8 at Fira Barcelona-Montjuïc on Monday 25, Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 of February.
On the other hand, Mercedes Martínez, founder and CEO of dothegap, will be part of a round table that will take place on Wednesday at 5pm and forms part of the Futurisme programme promoted by Barcelona Activa.
The talk will feature four participants from local projects, and will focus on innovative ideas within the tourism sector. One of the speakers will be an intrapreneur, a new figure in startups that is responsible for paving new paths for the future.
